Graduated from a secondary school in Jõhvi, received medical assistant training in Tartu, graduated from the University of Tartu and received the Master’s degree in health sciences at the Department of Nursing Therapy of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tartu. Erika has worked for many years as a midwife, head nurse and school manager, participated actively in social life. Erika has initiated new activities and movements in the Ida-Viru County and implemented her ideas through various projects. Her two grown-up sons are finding their calling in life, her husband has been employed in the field of power engineering for his entire working life. Erika considers it necessary to live in the constantly changing world and be personally involved in the changes. She is a patriot of the Ida-Viru County, for whom home, friends, and caring for people are of great importance in life. She draws her joy of life from nature, gardening, travelling, reading, and physical activities.
